Laughter filled the streets

Smiles lifted the corners

Another time another year

Filled with hopes and dreams

A mad man shows his color

The world falls under his pressure

“Democracy” they say

Yet fail to honor the Budapest

A mother cries

A child takes it’s last breath

Friend or foe?

Trapped under the rubble of inhumanity

Cries and protests of thousands

Yet leaders fail to listen

The world scared and worried

Will the dictator look at us next?
